Yup, it’s that time of year again. Trying to decide what gifts to get your coworkers for Christmas can be a major chore. One wants to give gifts that are thoughtful and desirable yet at the same time inexpensive; however, buying for lots of coworkers who work in the same location lends itself nicely to bulk buying the same gift for everyone.
A bag of mixed nuts and a nutcracker – there’s nothing quite as seasonally festive as nuts at Christmas, and having your own personal nutcracker to go with them is a thoughtful touch.

A jar of pistachio nuts - pistachios have become almost as synonymous with the festive season as walnuts and hazelnuts.

A kitchen whisk filled with Hershey’s kisses – wrapped in cellophane and tied with a Yule-tide ribbon to hold it all together, a card reading “We whisk you a merry Kissmas” explains the physical pun. The recipient not only gets tasty chocolate treats but a utensil for later use.

A collection of special coffees and/or teas with a mug - I don’t know about you, but I can always use another mug. You can give coffee or tea depending on the preference of the recipient.

A video rental gift card and a bag of microwave popcorn – tied up with a bow and holiday ribbon, this cut-price gift is a movie experience the beneficiary with remember.

A disposable camera - these are very reasonably priced nowadays and will come in handy for Christmas time at the workplace. Memories from parties and get-togethers can be captured and shared amongst your workmates.

Pancake mix with a special fruit syrup and hot chocolate powder - even the more gourmet of syrups are affordable enough to gift with this package. Again, you’re making a gift of the experience rather than the physical items themselves, which always inspires warm feelings of gratitude.

Gardening gloves with a potted plant or a bag of seeds - inspire someone’s green fingers with this gift. You could give flower seeds for those with aesthetic gardens and vegetable seeds for the more pragmatic horticulturist.

Pepper mill and whole peppercorns – using pre-ground pepper is pretty much a waste of time. Watch any cooking show or read any cookbook and the use of freshly-ground pepper is almost always stressed as a vital ingredient. However, lots of people stick to the former for the sake of convenience; pepper mills are not always readily available in the supermarket. You can remedy this by gifting this inexpensive, but always much appreciated kitchen commodity.

Specialty barbecue sauce and basting brush – while we’re in the kitchen, here’s another inexpensive option; a bottle of premium barbecue sauce coupled with a basting brush. I gave dishwasher safe silicon brushes the last time I exploited this idea. It is the perfect present for folks that like to cook both indoors and out.

As you can see, inexpensive Christmas gifts for coworkers don’t have to be a chore to think up. Small, simple, practical ideas are often the best option.
